Just came back from cinema, watched ‘Das weiße Band’ (The white ribbon) by Michael Haneke, which was really impressive, intense and disturbing. I read somewhere that it’s going to be the German candidate for Academy Award nomination as Best Foreign Language Film. Good opportunity to win, especially because it is not a movie about WWII.

Better than Funny Games.
